ABOUT
Phoenix Lodge Myoko is an eight-bedroom Western-style chalet that is ideal for larger groups or extended families which started welcoming guests in January 2023.
Phoenix Suites Myoko is a newly renovated Western-style lodge consisting of six self-contained apartments which opened in January 2024.
Both properties are conveniently located next door to each other in Shin Akakura, within walking distance of Akakura Onsen village and minutes from the Myoko Ski Resorts, not to mention, the famous Akakura Golf Course literally on the doorstep.
Your friendly and knowledgeable hosts, Australian couple, Joanne and Stewart, look forward to taking care of all your needs, from providing complimentary shuttles, liaising with ski schools and ski hire companies, to booking your tours and dining.
Joanne and Stewart live onsite and are on hand to help you enjoy your stay in Myoko, whether you are here for the first time, or you are a seasoned skier.

LODGE
This eight-bedroom residence is available only for sole use and designed to comfortably accommodate larger sized groups of up to 15 guests.
With full sized kitchen facilities as well as large lounge and dining room, it has all the conveniences and comforts of a home. Highlights include a fireplace, large bar and outdoor patio. Quality toiletries, pantry staples and a starter breakfast hamper are also provided.
One deluxe bedroom has an en-suite, while the other bedrooms share two bathrooms and two separate toilets.
All beds are western style king or king single size, with futons used as additional bedding as required.
Additional facilities include Wifi, Dry Room and washing machine.
Services also included are complimentary transfers from/to Myoko-kogen Train Station, daily shuttle to/from local ski resorts with services to restaurants and supermarket.

SUITES
Enjoy the convenience of independent self-contained apartments with the comfort and benefits of a fully serviced lodge.
Newly renovated, these six modern apartments ranging from 2-bedroom (4-6 guests), 1-bedroom (2-3 guests) to studio (2 guests) are very well appointed, comprising of private ensuite and kitchenette. Quality toiletries, pantry staples and a starter breakfast hamper are also provided.
All beds are western style queen or single size.
Guests also have access to a generous communal lounge and dining area to congregate or socialise in larger groups.
Additional facilities include Wifi, Dry Room and washing machine.
Services also included are complimentary transfers from/to Myoko-kogen Train Station, daily shuttle to/from local ski resorts with services to restaurants and supermarket.
**Please note that Phoenix Suites does not cater for children under 5 years of age.

Location
Phoenix Lodge and Suites are located 4 hours by train from Narita and Haneda Airports or 5 hours by car.
The closest train stations are Nagano (50 minutes), Joetsu (40 minutes) and Myoko Kogen (10 minutes).
Both properties are a five-minute drive or 15-minute stroll to the village centres of Akakura Kanko and neighbouring Akakura Onsen where visitors can enjoy a range of cosy restaurants, ramen bars and cafes, and local groceries.
